Heliski in Kamchatka is for adventure seeking connoisseurs. You may have already tried heliskiing at more conventional destinations, but are now looking for something more extraordinary.
The 1,000 km long peninsula off the Bering Sea is arguably one of Russia’s, if not the most beautiful places in the world. If you then add a helicopter, the skier and boarder have a playground in a unique landscape. Where in the world can you start on top of a volcano and end down by the water on the same trip? The answer is heliski in Kamchatka.
Kamchatka is one of the largest helicopter areas in the world. Gigantic volcanoes, unspoilt mountainsides with depths and an average snowfall of 18 meters annually offer an unforgettable experience in the wild and untouched nature of the experienced skier and snowboarder. We live at the foot of the helicopter area in the completely newly built exclusive St. Timon’s Mountain Lodge. In bad weather conditions, sightseeing can be arranged for Petropavlosk-Kamchatsky. The lodge has great common areas, own restaurant with a gourmet cook and a fully equipped spa-area and sauna. It’s possible to book a massage as well. The hotel has snowmobiles so that freeriding in forest terrain can be arranged on bad weather days.
The price is based on a double room. If you want a single room, this can be ordered at a small supplement in the price.
Here you will get a great local food experience, which is a part of the total experience in Kamchatka. The meals will be made by a Russian gourmet cook and is a part of the culture that you will experience in the Russian mountains. Morgenmad, frokost i terrænet og middag er inkluderet i prisen. Alcohol can be purchased in addition. If you have any special dietary requirements, we can of course accommodate this.
The terrain in Kamchatka includes large vertical drops; typically, 1,500-2,000 m. It is not necessarily difficult terrain, but often long runs. A certain degree of basic fit is therefore assumed and that you have some experience in off-piste terrain from earlier.
There are two UIAGM guides attached to the helicopter. Safety is of course always first priority when heliski in Kamchatka.
There are stable and secure conditions when traveling to Russia.

When we have reached our destination, you’ll receive a security briefing. We want to make sure that you have the best prerequisites to not get hurt when riding off-piste.
Apart from skiing and snowboarding, we also arrange social events like going to the sauna, dinners and beers in the evening. These events are however decided by what kind of weather we’re exposed to.
We will assist you all the way. Our travel guide will bring you to one of the Airports and make sure you get safely back on your flight home.
